On Monday night my buddy David hit me up because he got some free tickets (and some soup, but he didn’t share that, asshole) to the Santa Barbara installment of the Banff Mountain Film Festival held at the Arlington. Neither of us knew what to expect, or what the hell the Banff was, but it turned out pretty cool.

Read MoreNot too long ago I got my library card to the Santa Barbara Public Library. I wasn't ever really much of a reader growing up, meaning I only read when I was required to. I think it's safe to say that I've got the bug now. The library has tons of good stuff, and if it's not at the closest library to you for 50 cents they'll deliver to your home library. Such a good deal! Anyways, I recommend reading to all you out there, especially from the library because it's free (or nearly free) and you don't have to worry about storing the book once your done with it.
